Building a quote

Open the job and add line items — materials, labour, call-out fee. Each line can carry a client-friendly description ("Includes drip tray & isolation valve") so the client knows exactly what they're paying for. Subtotal, VAT at 15% and the total calculate themselves.

Sending it

Quotes go out as a clean, professional PDF with your details on it. The client gets a link — no account, no login — and accepts with one tap. You'll see the status change the moment they do.

When it's accepted

An accepted quote appears on your dashboard as ready to schedule — one click and it's a booked job on the calendar, with all the quoted line items carried through to the eventual invoice. Nothing gets retyped.

Quotes have a validity date (e.g. 30 days). Chasing isn't your job anymore: stale quotes get flagged before they expire.

Estimates vs quotes

An estimate is a lighter, non-binding ballpark — great for "roughly what would this cost?" conversations. It can be upgraded to a full quote when the client is serious.
