Questions

Before you send your first RFQ

What does it cost?
Your first three RFQs are free. After that, RFQs come in bundles of ten for R250 (R25 each), including VAT, with no subscription. An RFQ is only used when you send it: drafts, follow-ups and blank RFQs are free, and RFQs never expire. Unused bundles can be refunded if you ask within 7 days of paying. Suppliers pay nothing.
Can I buy more RFQs now?
Online buying by card, instant EFT and Capitec Pay opens soon. Until then, email admin@dumaflow.com and we'll add RFQs to your account.
Do suppliers need to sign up?
No. Suppliers get your RFQ by email with a PDF of the list and reply to you from their own system, or by phone or WhatsApp. Soon they'll also be able to open the RFQ and price it online. Replying by email will still work.
How do the quotes get into Dumaflow?
Drop the supplier's PDF or a photo of their quote onto their row, and the AI reads it and matches it to your lines. Each upload uses one of your 50 AI reads a month. Or type the quote in, which is always free. You check prices, quantities and matches, then confirm the quote before it's compared.
How long until I get prices?
That's up to your suppliers, as it is today. Dumaflow shows each one as waiting, reminded or quoted, tells you when a supplier needs a follow-up after 6 hours, and lets you send up to three free follow-ups.
Can I use my usual merchants?
Yes. You add your own suppliers and can save groups of up to three, so your usual merchants are always a tap away. Dumaflow's directory of merchants near the job comes next.
I got a quote by phone. Can I still compare it?
Yes. Start a blank RFQ to record a request you made by phone or WhatsApp, then bring the quotes in. No email is sent and no RFQ is used.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. You can add Dumaflow to your home screen and use it like an app.
What happens to supplier contact details?
We only email suppliers about the RFQs and orders you send them. Each supplier gets their own email, so nobody sees who else was asked, and we never show one supplier's prices to another. See our POPIA statement for the details.
