Geyser Compliance

Claims that don't come back.

Build the complete evidence file for a geyser replacement before you leave the roof — guided photos, the checklist, the plate details and a completeness check — then hand over one clean PDF pack.

The problem

Rejected on a missing photo.

One shot short

The work was right, but the pack went in without the vacuum breaker or the drip tray in frame. It comes back queried weeks later — and by then the geyser is boxed in.

Every insurer wants it differently

Different photo lists, different forms, different order. Techs are trying to remember which assessor wants what.

Assembled days after the job

Someone in the office stitches a pack together from a WhatsApp thread, guessing which photo belongs to which install.

On site

The file builds itself as you work.

The technician is walked through the job in order. Nothing is left to memory, and nothing can be skipped without it being obvious.

01

Pick the insurer

Each insurer has its own evidence template — the photo list and the fields that particular assessor expects. Choosing the insurer sets the requirements for the whole job.

02

Capture the old installation

Guided, prompted shots of what was there before it comes out — the condition that justifies the replacement, photographed while it still exists.

03

Scan the rating plate

Photograph the plate on the old and new units. Dumaflow reads the make, model, capacity and serial straight off the image instead of the tech typing it on a roof.

04

Work through the checklist

The critical compliance items — safety valves, vacuum breakers, drip tray and overflow, pipe insulation, tray drainage, electrical isolation — confirmed item by item against SANS 10254.

05

Photograph the completed install

The full set of after shots the pack needs, prompted one at a time so the tech isn't counting them off in their head.

06

Add the invoice and certificate details

Photograph the supplier invoice and it's read and itemised. Record the certificate number and the details of the registered professional who issued it.

07

Completeness check before submit

Dumaflow checks the file against that insurer's template and lists anything still missing — while the technician is still standing at the job, not a week later.

08

Office countersigns, pack goes out

The technician issues the file on site; the office reviews and countersigns afterwards. The result is one professional PDF claim pack, ready to send.

Where certification sits

Dumaflow records the certificate number, the issuing professional and their registration details as part of the evidence file. Certification stays exactly where the law puts it — with the registered professional who signs it. Dumaflow assembles the proof around that certificate; it never stands in for it.

In the pack

One PDF, everything in it.

Assembled in the order the assessor reads it, with the same structure on every claim you submit.

Per-insurer templates

Set up each insurer's evidence requirements once. From then on the technician just picks the name and the right photo list follows.

Nothing typed on a roof

Rating plates and supplier invoices are read from the photograph, so the details in the pack match the unit that was actually fitted.

Checked before it leaves

The completeness check runs against the template while the tech is still on site — the cheapest possible moment to find a missing shot.

Stored and searchable

Every completed file stays against the job and the address, so a query six months later takes seconds to answer.

Warranty scanner included.

Before you quote a replacement, check whether the unit is still covered. Enter the code off the rating plate and Dumaflow decodes the manufacturer's date and tells you whether it's in or out of warranty — and if it is still covered, shows the manufacturer's contact details and what they need to process the claim.

Fit

Runs on its own, or alongside the rest.

Phone and desktop

The technician works on the Android app on site. The office reviews, countersigns and sends from the browser.

Unlimited technicians

Put the whole team on it. There's no per-technician seat to buy before someone can complete a file.

A standalone add-on

Use it on its own without the rest of Dumaflow, or switch it on next to the full suite if you already run jobs through us.

Stop re-doing rejected claims.

Geyser Compliance is opening to a first group of plumbing businesses. Tell us which insurers you work with most and we'll set their templates up with you.
